Every full moon, when the werewolfs are crying in the woods, and lunatics are dancing around the fire, a new episode of the 'nite rite' series will be released on animal language.
This series is the result of the many things that have been cooking in the cave of Mason over the past years. Of all the beats, loops and ideas that never became a full track, he has picked the best ones to produce a series of 'DJ tools' that would otherwise never see the light of day. Or at least, that's what the artists says this series is.
Well what is a "Dj tool" anyway? (No, no, no, this is not the artist name of the latest EDM sensation, though it would fit many of the artists dominating this genre). A DJ tool could be best described as a track or even just a series of loops that works well in a DJ set, not as a track on it's own. It's a piece of music designed for playing out in the clubs.
In our opinion, 'Nite rite one' is a lot more then that. This is a groove based side of Mason that we rarely see, but that we like very much. So we were not surprised that it's picked up and supported by Ministry of sound, The Magician and Tensnake.
This is a track for your playlist in itunes, that you will play over and over and that you will be nodding your head to every single time. So, mr. Mason, give us more of these little secrets you have been keeping under your sleeve. WE WANT THEM, and it's Dutch Disco Approved.
