Mason is back on LouLou records with something as ear catching as usual. 'Wurrrrrrrkit don't jerk it' is it's credo. We're not sure what it means, but do understand that this tune means business on the dance floor.

The Keljet boys deliver their 5th tape. And it happens to be Mixtape Wednesday. Nuff said, crank up the volume and dream of dodgy coloured cocktails..!
This is what makes radio still relevant. Big Motha Fokkin Mighty Midweek Radio Mixtape Wednesday. Red Light Radio Pin Up Club madness.... A weird but nice housy hymn by Dutch legend Tom Trago. First of a four track EP for Red Bull studios. Slowly getting under your skin this one and certainly Dutch Disco approved <3 Time for something different. This weeks MIDWEEK mix is by Young Marco, from planet Holland. A mix for that extra hour, you have just for yourself, to pounder and relax. Young Marco proves he's an asset for the new Amsterdam festival Strange Sounds From Beyond late june at Noorderlicht Café. We are certainly going.
The team behind Animal Language, the record label of Amsterdam based Mason, have been throwing out-of-the-ordinary parties through town. From Kafe Raves, where 4 dodgy bars a night are taken over by a wild crowd, to winter barbecues and whatnot. During the national King's Day, Animal Language does it's yearly traditional outdoor rave.
We've got an excerpt of resident DJs Tron & Wijn De Steerd recording at this outdoor street party last week. Have a listen, think of 500 ravers in the middle of the street in Amsterdam with cans of lager, and start smiling L'Equipe du Son is pursuing his quest for making epic synth ballads (and destroying planets along the way). For his current jam he asked fellow italo peers Machinegewehr and Doctr to re the mix, and we're happy he did, making it a Tripple Dutch Disco. Have a listen to Machinegewehr's mix below. The whole EP is very worth your while and out on track source. Dutch Disco Approved. http://www.traxsource.com/title/608579/the-planet-destroyer Sunday's are ideal for a nine minute break. We from Dutch Disco sometimes recommend nine minute breaks. And today we have a most excellent nine minute break recommendation. It's not gonna be one of those nicely in the sun tropical cocktail nine minute breaks though. Nooooo way. Neither will it be a dark and sinister german techno bunker nine minute break. Nope this is one of those nine minute spectator break. You know, the ones where it seems like you're filming a documentary on a wide screen. With these long steady shots, slowly moving from the left side of the screen to the right side. Spectating things like an insane drug abusing club night, or a slow motion of the sweaty drummer of that legendary band you like so much while he hits the crash. Reflections of light splashing all over the image of your film... It's one of those nine minute breaks. Or it's just a San Proper sitting in the steppe of middle Africa playing an empty coca cola bottle with his self made hardwood stick together with a bunch of brilliant local musicians. Afterwards adding highly delayed and reverbed guitars in his amsterdam basement. That could be too. Either way. This BLOND:ISH remix is signature material. So we recommend to take that nine minute break and submerge for the full one hundred and sixty one percent. It's worth your minutes and increases the understanding of life in general. ~dutch disco approved~ Buy ☞ https://goo.gl/UmRj3u And there they are again... Accompanying the amsterdam sunday spring sun with a new single. And a new album. It was about time but it was worth the wait. Here they are, the one and only major league disco masters from the low and the lands: Kraak & Smaak. Teaming up with superstar Mayer Hawthorne they delivered yet another extremely catchy tune in advance of their 5th studio album. Yes we can't wait for the rest either... ~dutch disco approved~ |
